It's kind of random but the WestWord newspaper voted GuerillaGarden Denver's best "graffiti advocate". I'm thinking it came about due to us telling Marc Ecko to fuck himself.

Guerilla Garden ain't no bunch of tag-bangers. The crew is Denver's unofficial graffiti-advocacy organization, and its members are some of the city's top graffers, including Jher, Jolt, Voice, Crims, and Emit. Since forming in 2005, they've worked with several programs that promote graffiti as an artistic endeavor -- not a facet of thug life -- and have become a conduit for underground muralists to break into art galleries. If one of these guys (or their followers) deigns to hit your garage, it's because you're paying them cash money to do so.

The Pirate Sygnal

These are my peoples rightchere "The Pirate Sygnal" consists of Yonnas and DJ A*What! two bad motherfuckers doing something I have never seen before. They will without a doubt in my mind catch the attention of the masses in the very near future. Based out of Denver, Bawlarado you can catch them in L.A. at the Knitting Factory doing shows with R.A. Tha Rugged Man or on tour with names like Kool Keith, also found on the regular at any local hole in the wall bar or wharehouse tearing that shit down like its a colliseum, you haven't seen shit till you have witnessed The Pirate Sygnal's live show. Los Tucanes De Tijuana in this motherfucker. If you don't know these guys are like the Mesakin Beatles. I never seen a rapper with the amount of groupies these old men have, you ever had a bitch backstage making menudo? I didn't think so playa.
